Hi. I don't know what to put here. Um... yeah.
and you are so right... before Christ our world wasn't easy...it still isn't easy..but having him to believe in makes it better.
Same with our own lives. Before our lives are completely darkness...with little hints of light, that eventually fade away... But when we ask Jesus to come in... the dark is instantly washed out by his glorious light... it's such a beautiful thing..
Happy Birthday, Lord Jesus!
Great piece, Mave...it looks amazing.

It's beautiful. The face and the robes are excellently shaded, the transition from light to dark was handled marvelously (not just -boom- there's the divider between the two), and the text really sells the piece. There's nothing really wrong with the lamb, it just doesn't seem to have quite the detail of the rest of the piece. Just too light in comparison, as you said, it seems. But don't pick it apart - it really is an amazing piece, Mave.
Thank you for blessing us with another reminder of what we're really celebrating. Merry Christmas and God bless.
